Job summary

GlobalFoundries, Essex Junction FAB9, seeks a Photo Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status updates to the Lead Tech or Engineer.

The role requires safe work practices in a 12-hour shift within a semiconductor fab. Applicants should have a High School Degree or equivalent, with 2-year technical degree or 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance with relevant background.
• Ability to read schematics and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment performance and readiness for manufacturing.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech or Engineer.
• Work independently and with teams in a fast-paced FAB9 environment.
• Support training activities and continuous improvement projects.
