Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer for the Fab9 200mm photolithography team in Essex Junction, VT. This Mon-Fri daytime role focuses on sustaining, improving, and owning lithography processes and developing new ones, working with 365nm/248nm/193nm chemistries and multiple tool types.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering or materials science with 2–4 years in semiconductors, strong Lean knowledge, and proven leadership in projects. On-site role with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or related technical discipline required.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive solutions.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge including 5S, problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Own and sustain existing photolithography processes.
• Learn Fab9 systems and photolithography processes and tools.
• Collaborate with equipment, development, and integration teams to meet targets.
• Develop new processes and qualification plans for lithography chemicals and tooling.
• Reduce cycle time and cost; increase yield; create and improve standard work.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and support groups.
