Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Richardson, TX to support photolithography coat, develop, and expose equipment. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and teamwork.

The candidate should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent military electronics training, with 5+ years of experience preferred. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, data monitoring and collaboration with engineers.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate technical degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering or military electronics training equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and knowledge of SPC in manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs; may wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment.
• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce tool breakdowns.
• Monitor and analyze tool data; recommend and implement maintenance improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and execute equipment improvement projects.
• Communicate machine status clearly in daily pass-down meetings and in writing to other shifts.
