Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in equipment engineering.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Knowledge and application of SPC in the manufacturing environment.
• Ion Mill and/orTrim experience on Veeco or Scia equipment (preferred).
• E-Beam Evaporation experience on Temescal or Evatec equipment (preferred).
• Rapid Thermal Anneal experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support of equipment used in the manufacturing and development of advanced technology products at Qorvo, Richardson Operations.
• Improve equipment availability and reduce cycle time, costs and yield loss through data driven equipment hardware and process performance improvements.
• Upgrade and re-engineer equipment to improve equipment performance.
• Define and improve detailed preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate machine installations to support factory capacity expansions.
• Present and communicate data analysis and improvement actions to FAB management and equipment technicians.
• Assist in resolving complex corrective maintenance tasks and documents lessons learned to improve technician skills.
• Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that address the root cause of problem areas.
• Must be able to work and manage several projects in parallel and execute to commitments.
