Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations for semiconductor tools. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, data analysis and proactive problem solving, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include High School diploma/GED, 18+, and either 5 years of semiconductor experience as Technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed schedule and day/night shifts including a weekend shift and holidays.
• Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent Military Electronics training, plus 2+ years on Nikon, ASML and/or TEL photolithography equipment.

Responsibilities

• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce downs.
• Monitor and analyze data to improve tool performance and address issues.
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and summarize findings with recommended solutions to problems.
