Job summary

The RealReal is seeking a Photography Production Assistant for our Authentication Centers in New Jersey and Arizona. You will photograph items ranging from designer clothing to fine jewelry and watches, showcasing product condition.

• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work in a studio with flashing lights and multiple screens; may affect photosensitivity.

As consigned goods travel into our warehouse facilities, the team processes, authenticates, and photographs each item in preparation for listing to our website. As a Photography Production Assistant, you will photograph items ranging from designer clothing to fine jewelry and watches, capturing detailed images that showcase product condition. About The Role

As a Photography Production Assistant, you will photograph items ranging from designer clothing to fine jewelry and watches, capturing detailed images that showcase product condition. In addition to hourly base pay, we also offer:

• Tenure‑based pay program: Get rewarded for your commitment with 2 automatic pay increases during your first 12 months, up to $0.75 MORE PER HOUR.
• Pay for Performance program: Opportunity to earn a monthly bonus equivalent up to $2.30 more per hour when exceeding your performance goals.
• $50 in monthly food credits to apply to snacks and meals that are available for purchase on site.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Ensure product is handled to the highest quality standards
• Dress a mannequin quickly and efficiently, according to TRR company styling guidelines
• Take photos of the mannequin from different angles using a remote control (camera settings are pre-programmed; no adjustments to settings are required)
• Achieve hourly and daily quota requirements
• Assist with the movement of physical product through the studio
• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace

• This role is performed in a studio with flashing lights of varying frequency and intensity and requires the use of multiple screens (camera, laptop, monitors, etc.) and may be triggering for those with photosensitivity. Additional information is available upon request.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ months of experience working in a warehouse production environment
• Proven ability to excel in a high‑volume, repetitive, quota-driven environment
• Self‑motivation and a drive to achieve results
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Adaptability and openness to change
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds (dressing and lifting mannequins, moving product, etc.)
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours at a time
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to work weekends as needed

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency with Mac iOS and Google Suite

The expected hourly rate for this role is $16-$17.25. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
