Job summary

The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods, with hundreds of luxury experts working in our New Jersey and Arizona locations. As a Merchandise Operations Specialist, you will inspect items, gather key details, and prepare products for listing while upholding quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

You will oversee VIP consignments, collaborate with the luxury consignments team, and support returns, authentication, and merchandising

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management experience in a related field.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Able to lead a large group in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VIP and vendor consignments.
• Collaborate with luxury consignment office to manage transfers to the warehouse.
• Provide coverage on receiving floor and assist with product questions and distribution to increase productivity.
• Point of contact for returns, authentication, merchandising, copywriting and inbound loading dock.
• Assist operation coordinators and exception specialists with product issues and exceptions.
• Conduct weekly and monthly audits to ensure SOP compliance.
• Uphold brand and condition standards.
• Maintain positive team culture and manage backlog and end-of-day reporting.
• Oversee inquiries for AZ receiving support and ensure timely responses.
• Oversee department product handlers and support staff.

The Art & Science of Real comes to life within our facilities located in New Jersey and Arizona - combining the knowledge of hundreds of luxury experts with cutting-edge, proprietary technology. As consigned goods travel into our facilities, the team processes, authenticates, and photographs each item in preparation for listing to our website. As a Merchandise Operations Specialist, you will inspect the condition and gather pertinent information for all products that funnel into our warehouse, ranging from designer clothing and handbags to fine jewelry and watches. What You Get To Do Every Day

The expected salary range for this role is $57,000.00-$80,912.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
