Job summary

University of West Georgia is seeking a Photography Lab Assistant to support students and faculty in the digital print lab. The role offers part-time hours with potential evening or weekend shifts.

You will monitor facilities, assist in the Digital Lab, and help enforce department policies while maintaining a safe, productive workspace.

Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work Study and enrolled at UWG; proficiency in Mac OS, Photoshop, and Epson systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Federal Work Study award.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at University of West Georgia.
• Must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
• Must be in good conduct standing with the School of Visual and Performing Arts.
• Proficiency in Apple Mac OS, Adobe Photoshop, and Epson Printing Systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the photography area facilities.
• Provide assistance in the Digital Lab to students, faculty, staff, and guests.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment.
• Help enforce department policies and procedures.
• Attend workshops and trainings as required.
• Collaborate with SVPA staff on projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
