Job summary

The University of West Georgia is seeking a Student Assistant for the Experiential Learning Center. You will help prepare laboratory and simulation spaces, clean and reset labs, stock supplies, and assist with inventory and documentation, using Word, Excel, and Forms.

This is a part-time on-site role at UWG’s recruiting location, requiring 6 credits and a 2.0 GPA. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, able to work independently, and capable of handling light lab equipment while supporting

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Forms.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Preparing laboratory and simulation spaces for scheduled learning activities
• Cleaning and resetting laboratory spaces after activities
• Organizing, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Assisting with inventory management and documentation
• Providing basic support for laboratory technology and equipment
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional learning environment
• Completing administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Forms
• Performing other related duties as assigned by Experiential Learning Center staff
