Job summary

Dickinson College is seeking a creative Visual Media Specialist to capture campus life and tell Dickinson’s story through photography and video. You will produce content for the website, social channels, and marketing materials with a strong eye for composition and narrative.

The role requires a solid portfolio, proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends to support campus events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Photography, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrates professional photography and video production experience including events and portraits.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create vibrant photography for website, social media, print and digital marketing.
• Develop engaging social media content that boosts brand visibility and engagement.
• Plan and deliver photographic coverage of campus events, including evening/weekend assignments.
• Lend creative and technical expertise to high-quality video productions (filming, lighting, audio).
• Mentor student workers and social media ambassadors to craft authentic Dickinson content.
