Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a friendly Photo Specialist to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the photo counter. You will assist with digital passport photos, FedEx, Western Union, and online order fulfillment while ensuring accuracy and a welcoming atmosphere.

You will own the photo department's inventory and operations, promoting photo products, processing transactions, and supporting merchandising and cross-training to keep the store running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers at the photo counter with warmth and purpose by greeting them, proactively offering assistance, and identifying needs to provide personalized products and services.
• Models and reinforces customer-obsessed behaviors and service best practices to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Delivers courteous, friendly, accurate, and efficient service in the photo department, including digital passport photo services and promotion of photo products and services.
• Recommends products, services, upgrades, and companion items to meet customer needs and drive sales opportunities.
• Processes customer transactions accurately, including purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, and rain checks, while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Owns the inventory, supplies, organization, and operational readiness of the photo department by monitoring inventory levels and maintaining photo expense, raw material, and supply inventory levels.
• Processes and fulfills photo, online, and web pickup orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provides customer support for services such as FedEx and Western Union.
• Maintains photo equipment and store systems to support daily operations and safe environment.
• Supports photo and nearby departments in merchandising through displays and seasonal setups.
• Supports cross-training of team members to ensure coverage during times when Photo Specialist is not scheduled.
• Follows company policies and safety standards to maintain a compliant environment.
• Collaborates with team members and completes additional assignments to support business objectives.
