Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Photo Specialist to deliver a distinctive customer experience through expert photo services, digital passport photos, and support for in-store transactions. You will own the photo department’s inventory, merchandising, and operational readiness to ensure product availability and timely service.

You will engage customers at the photo counter, promote photo products, process transactions and returns, manage orders, and assist with services like FedEx and Western Union.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers at the photo counter with warmth and purpose, greeting them and addressing needs to provide personalized products and services.
• Delivers courteous, accurate, and efficient service in the photo department, including digital passport photo services and promotion of photo products.
• Recommends products, services, upgrades, and companion items to meet customer needs and drive sales opportunities.
• Processes customer transactions accurately, including purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, and rain checks, following cash handling procedures.
• Owns the photo department inventory, supplies, organization, and readiness by monitoring levels and maintaining records to meet demand.
• Processes and fulfills photo, online, and web pickup orders with accuracy and timeliness for a seamless customer experience.
• Provides customer support for services such as FedEx, Western Union, and other auxiliary services, ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintains photo equipment and uses store systems to support daily operations and troubleshoot issues.
