Bayhealth Medical Center seeks a Phone Triage RN to provide triage support for Bayhealth Primary Care offices from the Call Center at BlueHen in Dover. The position is onsite, full-time, with days shifts and an hourly pay range listed below.

The RN will triage calls via phone and patient portal, aiding physicians and ensuring quality, compassionate care. Required: Diploma/Associate in Nursing, BLS, and 2+ years in a physician practice or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS RN certification
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a physician practice or hospital
• Preferred BSN

Responsibilities

• Restores and promotes patient health by completing nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Accurately and completely records data in medical records and databases.
• Provides emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Uses advanced communication with internal and external customers.
• Ensures quality of care by adhering to standards and measuring outcomes.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and protects operations.
