Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide triage assessments in person and by phone, supporting clinicians and patients. You will assist with examinations, perform clinical tasks within licensure, and lead in team settings to ensure efficient patient care.

The role requires a NJ RN license and CPR certification, with a minimum of 6 months in a physician's practice or primary care. On-site, full-time with comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a physician's practice/primary care.
• Knowledge of minor surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Current NJ RN License.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts triage assessments including psychosocial and physiological status.
• Performs in-person and telephone triage with accuracy.
• Obtains vitals and prepares patients for physician exams.
• Administers vaccines per protocols and standing orders.
• Assists with minor surgical procedures and clinical procedures.
• Provides patient education and coordinates care as directed by physicians.
