Job summary

Draeger, Inc. is seeking a Biomed Field Service Engineer II to cover the Phoenix area. This field-based role requires living in the territory and includes a company vehicle for personal use.

You will install, maintain, recall, and repair a broad range of medical devices at customer sites, working with high independence and delivering strong service metrics. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of biomedical or electronic field service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to review

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience – biomedical or electronic field service.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Effective communicator with internal and external customers.
• Able to review service history and device log data to achieve repairs.
• Experience working independently while reaching assigned goals.
• Able to interpret technical documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation, maintenance, recall, and repair support at customer sites within the Phoenix territory.
• Diagnoses, calibrates, and repairs devices to OEM standards.
• Installs new medical devices and loaners per OEM standards.
• Manages service orders and documents work promptly using diagnostics tools.
• Achieves KPIs while following procedures and ensuring compliance.
• Maintains assets including vehicle and inventory; reports damage or maintenance.
• Travel within territory and occasional nonstandard hours.
• Mentors junior team members as needed.
