Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix seeks a Marketing and Events Manager to lead events and content initiatives, working with the leadership and marketing teams to advance business development goals. This role focuses on in-person and virtual events, editorial standards, and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in marketing leadership within professional services, strong writing skills, and experience with AI content tools to ensure efficient, compliant materials.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of marketing/business development experience at a management level in professional services (law firm preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field is helpful.
• Proven ability to develop and execute events and data-driven content strategies.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
• Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Define the editorial vision, voice, and standards for all firm events.
• Manage event-related research, sponsorships, memberships, ticketing, and vendor relationships.
• Advise attorneys on initiatives to advance the firm’s name recognition and marketing materials.
• Oversee in-person and virtual event planning and execution including site selection, budgeting, content, production, registration, logistics, and post-event evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure proactive planning and seamless execution.
• Manage vendor resources to ensure seamless event execution.
• Lead workflows for content production including copyediting, ethics reviews, leadership approvals, and AI tools.
• Assist in creating and managing marketing and business development budgets.
• Maintain processes for reporting progress/ROI on the department plan.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.
