Phoenix Staff is seeking a creative, organized, and hands‑on Marketing Specialist for an established organization in the commercial interiors industry. This opportunity is ideal for a well‑rounded marketing professional who enjoys managing a variety of projects, coordinating client events, developing marketing materials, and supporting business development initiatives.

The role will focus heavily on event marketing, social media presence, client engagement, and marketing communications, while also supporting RFP responses and the rollout of an established new brand identity. Working closely with leadership, the sales team, and an external marketing agency, this individual will help strengthen the organization’s market presence and deliver polished, consistent marketing communications.

The ideal candidate brings creativity, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage projects while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing & Client Engagement
  • Plan, organize, and execute client events, networking opportunities, and engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate event logistics, invitations, promotional materials, communications, and follow‑up activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with leadership and sales to develop creative client engagement strategies that support relationship building and business development.
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials that enhance the client experience and support outreach efforts.
Social Media & Marketing Communications
  • Support and coordinate the organization’s social media presence, helping maintain consistent messaging, relevant content, and professional brand representation.
  • Collaborate with the external marketing agency on social media content, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and update client‑facing materials, including presentations, marketing collateral, sales resources, and promotional communications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing communications, increase visibility, and strengthen engagement with target audiences.
  • Ensure marketing content and materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with established brand standards.
Brand Launch & Marketing
  • Support the rollout of the organization’s new brand identity, working alongside an external marketing agency responsible for the remaining branding work.
  • Help implement the established brand across marketing materials, presentations, client communications, and other relevant channels.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure a consistent and successful brand launch.
  • Contribute creative ideas and practical improvements that strengthen how the organization presents itself to clients and the broader market.
RFP Responses & Sales Support
  • Partner with the sales team to coordinate and prepare responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other business development opportunities as needed.
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize information from internal teams to produce clear, compelling, and professional proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain and update proposal templates, marketing collateral, and supporting resources used throughout the RFP process.
  • Review submissions for accuracy, consistency, brand alignment, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage periodic RFP requests, typically a few per month, while balancing ongoing marketing and event responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated professional stability and a track record of delivering results in previous roles.
  • Broad marketing experience, ideally within a small or midsized organization where responsibilities span multiple marketing functions.
  • Experience planning and coordinating events, managing client engagement initiatives, and developing marketing communications.
  • Experience supporting social media activities, marketing campaigns, and client‑facing content.
  • Experience coordinating RFP responses, preparing proposals, or providing marketing support to sales and business development teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished, professional marketing materials.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines.
  • Creative, resourceful, and detail‑oriented, with a demonstrated ability to turn ideas into completed projects.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong collaboration with leadership, sales teams, and external marketing partners.
  • Relevant professional experience and demonstrated accomplishments are valued more highly than formal educational credentials.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience supporting a company rebrand, brand refresh, or new brand launch is a plus.
