Behavioral Health Solutions, Inc. in Arizona is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility Therapy team to provide face-to-face psychiatric services to underserved geriatric patients.

The role offers base pay with incentives, flexible scheduling, 4 weeks PTO, holidays, CEU support and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Arizona by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
