Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting/pushing heavy weights and long hours; minimum height 60 inches may be required to operate vehicles.
• All staff work as a team to set up and tear down equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain donation impact.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and set up/tear down equipment at donation sites; may require 60-inch height minimum.
