Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Edina, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:15 AM to 5:45 PM, with rotating weekends. You will collect venous and capillary samples from adults, infants, and children and perform point-of-care testing with accuracy and compassion.

Salary ranges from $24.00 to $27.00 per hour and offers comprehensive benefits starting day one, plus potential performance bonuses. This role involves travel to health fairs and PSA test sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or perform POC as assigned
• Cleans and re-stocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic technique.
• Draws and delivers blood work within established departmental policy time frames.
• Travels and performs phlebotomy duties and POC testing at health fairs and PSA testing sites and delivers specimens to laboratory.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA/NV/WA)
