Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy training or 3 years blood collection experience required.
• State phlebotomy certification as required.
• Ability to work fast-paced with confidentiality.
• Experience in the medical field preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Multitasking with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Foster open communication between client and Aegis Sales Management.
• Follow SOPs for sample collection.
• Ensure chain of custody integrity and proper labeling.
• Verify that sample requisitions are complete and accurate.
• Utilize ELR 'FLUID' for sample submissions.
• Answer questions from clients/patients about Aegis policies.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance training.
• Comply with safety requirements including PPE.
• Order supplies and manage budget with RSM/ASM as required.
• Verify insurance information through Passport as needed.
• Request/collect payments from patients where applicable.
• Maintain communication with Regional/Area Sales Managers.
• Support sales objectives with regards to sample collection.
• Maintain knowledge of Aegis testing services.
• Participate in process improvements and team efforts.
• Provide leadership and share knowledge/skills.
