Job summary

Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, maintaining confidentiality, and providing excellent customer service while handling insurance verifications and billing support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program or phlebotomy certification; or 3+ years of blood collection experience.
• Must meet state requirements for phlebotomy certification (where required).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collect biological specimens at client sites.
• Maintain integrity of the collection process and records for reporting purposes.
• Obtain initial insurance verification for billing purposes.
• Package specimens for shipment.
• Follow SOPs for sample collection and ensure chain of custody.
