Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy training or 3 years of blood collection experience required.
• Must meet state requirements for phlebotomy certification (where required).
• Excellent customer service, confidentiality, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs for sample collection and ensure chain of custody.
• Maintain sample labeling, sealing, and sufficient volume.
• Use ELR FLUID for sample submissions and verify information.
• Answer client questions about policies and services.
• Complete compliance training, including HIPAA requirements.
• Maintain PPE and safety procedures and manage supplies.
