Job summary

Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a Specimen Collector - Phlebotomy to collect biological specimens at client sites and ensure specimen integrity through proper labeling, handling, and shipment.

The role requires phlebotomy training or equivalent experience, strong customer service, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to SOPs and safety protocols. Monday–Friday schedule with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs for sample collection and ensure chain of custody integrity.
• Maintain records for reporting and eligibility verification.
• Collect biological specimens at client sites for lab testing.
• Ensure samples are labeled, sealed, and properly prepared for shipment.
• Respond to client questions regarding policies and procedures.
• Complete HIPAA and other required compliance training.
• Maintain PPE and safety practices at all times.
• Support billing by verifying patient insurance information when needed.
