• Prioritize STAT draws and ensure timely specimen transport to the lab.
• Enter orders and generate collection lists with accuracy.
• Maintain organized workload and complete daily statistics.
• Assist coworkers and communicate with lab departments for workflow.
• Assist in training new employees and interns.
• Follow organizational policies and safety procedures.
• Greet patients and answer phones as needed in the outpatient lab.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of phlebotomy areas.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and report deviations.
• Adapt to technological solutions in work processes.
