Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire and maintained current.
• Minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for blood draws and ensure comfort and safety.
• Collect blood via venipuncture or capillary puncture with proper labeling.
• Transport and organize specimens to the lab and ensure proper storage.
• Follow quality control and safety protocols to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain and sanitize phlebotomy equipment.
• Perform more complex phlebotomy procedures as required with supervision.
