Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Training program and/or nationally recognized certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Some evening or weekend work will be required.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Performs venous blood draws and prepares specimens for lab analysis.
• Identifies patients and labels tubes correctly.
• Draws appropriate volume of blood and ensures proper specimen handling.
• Distributes blood samples to the lab in a timely manner.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and adheres to policies.
