Prime Healthcare is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician I for Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX. This per-diem (PRN) role involves drawing blood, labeling specimens, and transporting them to the lab while ensuring patient safety and accurate records.
You will work 8-hour morning shifts (4am–12:30pm) and support other departments as needed to ensure timely patient care. Prior phlebotomy experience and CPT I certification are preferred, with mandatory BLS within 45 days of hire.

We are seeking a Phlebotomy Technician I, also referred to as a Phlebotomy Tech. The Phlebotomy Technician I will be responsible for drawing blood and handling specimens, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and transport to the lab. They also maintain equipment, adhere to quality and safety protocols, record patient data, and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective patient care.

1. High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
2. Current and valid state certification as a CPT I, required.
3. BLS certification within 45 days of hire and maintained current, required.
4. Minimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience, preferred.
