Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood collection for adults, infants and children, including POCT. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with rotational weekends; a one-year phlebotomy background and pediatric/geriatric experience preferred.

This role requires accurate labeling and documentation, proper aseptic technique, and teamwork to support patient care. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or performs POC testing as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic techniques.
• Delivers blood work within policy time frames.
• Performs and processes POC tests for various ages.
• Reports incidents and supply needs promptly.
• Logs refrigerated temperatures daily.
