Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• Flexible schedule with weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or performs POC testing as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using aseptic techniques.
• Delivers blood work within departmental time frames.
• Performs and processes all POC tests on patients from newborn to geriatrics.
