Quest Diagnostics in Brooklyn Park, MN is hiring a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood collection from patients of all ages, and to process POC testing. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or performs POC as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic techniques.
• Draws and delivers blood work within established departmental policy time frames.
• Performs and processes all POC tests on patients from newborn to geriatrics.
