Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants and children, and to conduct Point of Care testing. The shift is 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday with rotational weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and performs POC testing as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from patients using aseptic technique.
• Delivers blood work within departmental policy timeframes and documents results.
• Reports supply needs and equipment defects promptly to supervision.
