Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Richfield, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood draws and POCT across all ages, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with rotational weekends. You will be responsible for accurate collection and processing, maintaining supplies, and supporting colleagues during draws.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and dependable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or perform POC as assigned.
• Cleans and re-stocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic collection techniques.
• Draws and delivers blood work within established policy time frames.
