Cleveland Clinic Independence Family Health Center is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for day/evening rotation (12:00pm-8:30pm or 3:00pm-11:30pm) to join the Medical Laboratory Team.

You will perform blood collection procedures, ensure accurate labeling, and handle specimen processing while helping put patients at ease during venipuncture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical proficiency with standard procedures.
• Formal phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and patient information before drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver to the processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and related tasks (accessioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Pick up and deliver blood and lab supplies; float to multiple locations.
• Maintain logs and ensure accurate specimen handling.
