Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture according to protocol.
• Verify order requests and identify patient information prior to draw.
• Label specimens and deliver to the correct processing area.
• Process specimens and handle send-out tasks (accessioning, centrifugation).
• Pickup and deliver blood, other samples, and lab supplies.
