Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital as a Phlebotomy Technician. You will work evenings (12:00pm-8:30pm) in the Lab Phlebotomy department, drawing blood and preparing specimens for processing while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Technician experience required.
• Technical proficiency with standard procedures and practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures, venipuncture techniques, and maintain logs.
• Verify orders and identify patient information prior to drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver to the appropriate processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and related tasks (accessioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Pickup and deliver blood, other sample types, and lab supplies.
