The American Red Cross in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking motivated staff to support the blood collection process. You will assist with donor interaction, site setup, and maintaining a safe, welcoming donation environment.

Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills across the nation’s top humanitarian organization. Eligible applicants should have high school diploma, customer service experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours; a minimum height requirement may apply for vehicle operation.

Responsabilités

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of donation.
• Create a welcoming environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setting up/teardown at donation sites.
