Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, sit/stand for long periods, and adapt to long hours and schedule changes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors to return.
• Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and set up/tear down equipment at donation sites; minimum height of 60 inches may be required.
