Universal Health Services’ Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing, support inventory, and help maintain equipment and safety standards in a fast-paced acute-care environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient comfort, and teamwork with care providers across departments; prior clinical lab experience and California phlebotomy certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic phlebotomy skills with certificate.
• Valid California phlebotomy certification required.
• Experience in clinical laboratory preferred.
• High School Graduate/equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing for all laboratory testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and checks of refrigerators, freezers, heat blocks and other equipment.
• Maintain phlebotomy and blood collection supplies and other inventory.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and handling supplies as assigned.
