Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance on lab equipment and maintaining inventory supplies.

The position requires basic phlebotomy skills, valid certification, and the ability to communicate effectively. Ideal candidates will have prior clinical lab experience and be able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Basic phlebotomy skills with certificate.
• Ability to perform duties accurately under pressure.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to support organizational needs.
• Verbal and written communication skills for effective data transfer.
• Competency in serving acute and critical care patients.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and temperature checks of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain phlebotomy and blood collection supplies and inventory.
