Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA seeks a Phlebotomist to perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing for all laboratory testing. The role requires California phlebotomy certification and current BLS, with previous lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic phlebotomy skills with certificate.
• Valid California Phlebotomy Certification required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to support acute and critical care patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on refrigerators, freezers, and other equipment.
• Maintains routine upkeep of centrifuges and hoods.
• Assists in maintaining phlebotomy supplies and other inventory.
