Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and handle equipment.
• Comfort with gloves and donor screening procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment per training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the Donor Information System.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying improvements using approved procedures.
