Job summary

TriHealth in Cincinnati is seeking a phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will obtain quality specimens from adults across ages and enter orders in LIS/HIS with accuracy.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification, and 1–2 years of experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for laboratory customers and procure quality specimens.
• Perform EKGs on outpatients as needed.
• Make and receive calls, gather data for service and billing, answer questions, and resolve issues.
• Complete documentation to meet compliance and transcribe orders in LIS/HIS.
• Enter patient demographics and test orders in LIS/HIS and distribute specimens.
