Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team at 433 North Indiana Ave in Sellersburg, IN. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, patient interaction, and occasional travel to other sites. Work schedule: Monday - Wednesday 9:00am - 3:30pm.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with strong customer service and communication skills. Potential PST incentive plan opportunities support performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
