Job summary

Labcorp in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens, and provide excellent service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Travel to additional sites as needed; PST Incentive Plan offers a quarterly bonus.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 2+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle specimens accurately and securely.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for tests and document patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare samples for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
