Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Albany, IN. The role includes blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and billing support, with travel to additional sites as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and Phlebotomy certification or training, with preference for 1+ year of experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
