Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Laboratory Phlebotomist to collect patient specimens for laboratory testing at our Hixson, TN location. The role requires clean venipunctures, capillary collection, and strict adherence to safety guidelines. The position supports LIS documentation, inventory management, and quality assurance in an outpatient clinic.

Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required; 2 years of clinical lab experience are valued. High school diploma required.

• Collect patient specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection.

• Identify issues that affect test performance and report them.
• Document corrective actions when tests deviate from specs.
• Document in charts for lab-only visits and operate LIS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by clinic leadership.

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant with 2 years of clinical lab experience preferred
