The role requires 2–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and licensure from an accredited phlebotomy program is recommended. Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of phlebotomy experience or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains proper documentation per QA program including logs and records.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures viability before use.
• Sends specimens to reference laboratories for testing not performed in-house.
• Processes incoming orders and laboratory reports.
• Ensures proper patient identification and safety protocols are followed.
