Job summary

Tennessee Cancer Specialists is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team in the East Tennessee area. You will work closely with our lab staff to collect patient samples, supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care.

The role requires basic phlebotomy skills, attention to safety procedures, and effective communication with patients and staff. Prior EMR experience is helpful, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomist collects specimens from patients while following safety procedures.
• Communicates respectfully with patients, coworkers and labs.
• Experience with EMR and lab management systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in phlebotomy and specimen collection for patients receiving care.
• Support lab staff and ensure proper labeling and handling of samples.
• Maintain inventory and adhere to OSHA and universal precautions.
• Contribute to smooth patient flow during clinic visits and treatments.
