Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead in McLean, VA, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The role requires guiding daily PSC/IOP operations and ensuring accurate specimen collection.

The candidate will perform phlebotomy, data entry, and related duties while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to SOPs. Salary is hourly with performance bonuses possible.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends,

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Read, understand and verify test orders and patient demographics.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required; safeguard assets and card data.
• Perform POC testing at sites as needed and complete training/competency evaluations.
• Assist with onboarding new staff and with periodic inventory and scheduling tasks.
